After its inaugural season earlier this year, Bard in the Yard, a series of Shakespeare performances hosted anywhere but a theatre, returns to Brisbane. In this installment, Share House Theatre head to the suburbs of Brisbane to share the story of the reckless, undeserving, and under qualified King Macbeth.

A gritty, urban, and unforgiving take on Shakespeare's classic tragedy, "Bard in the Yard: Macbeth" features nine of Brisbane's most ambitious young performers as they push boundaries, grapple with fate, and twist all your preconceptions.

Share House Theatre Co cast aside conventional performance venues to perform Shakespeare’s Macbeth in the Basement of Backbone Youth Arts - East Brisbane Bowls Club. Influenced by their ethos of theatre by ‘20-somethings-for 20-somethings’ this interpretation of Shakespeare’s classic free-will vs. fate story will be unlike any you’ve seen before.

Perfect for the punter that has seen all there is to see in the Brisbane scene (or so they think), you can follow the fight for the crown in Bard in the Yard: Macbeth from the 21st of September to 7th of October.
