From the house that brought you Bard in the Yard, Share House Theatre Company are back and keen to share with you The Food and Masculinity Double Bill as part of Anywhere Theatre Festival.
Bedouin Brew Cafe in Brisbane is where you'll want to be from the 4th - 15th of May. Just like Central Perk (without the parking problems), you'll enjoy coffee, on a couch, with great company-some old friends and some future old friends too.
May Contain Traces of Nuts was our debut work. An exploration of toxic masculinity through the eyes of Evan, our everyman, his Dad, a partycrazy mess, Cass, Evan's put upon girlfriend, and Din Viesel, the poster above Evan's bed.
Immaculate Confection is a new work by Josh Lyons. It asks questions about parenthood, growing into responsibility, and the quarter life crisis through what is possibly the most ridiculous lense ever. Chris has a watermelon, he thinks it's his child, and it all goes pear shaped from there.
Nuts was first produced through the Empire Theatres Homegrown Series, and moved to the Adelaide Fringe in 2016. You can read more about those adventures here.
